I don't know why I am looking like I am dying in this picture |
August 20th is transfer day. It was so fun to see
so many of the missionaries and have them tell me how much they love me. Sister Spenser commented that they will never
love me like they do you and I told her that I felt the same when Kaspers
left.
I was able to get several pictures
with the sisters. It turned out to be a
rainy day in Austin. There were several
visitors to the transfer meeting that were returned TSAMERs so there were a lot
of talks, especially at the Austin meeting.

We went to transfers by ourselves and Spensers rode with
Fergusons or Williamses because we had to go pick up the kids at their school
before Bingo Night. Sara was working
with us good because last year was such a disaster. Even though she said that they might not be
finished until about 5:45 p.m. or 6:00 p.m when we got there they were already
finished so we were able to pick the kids up at the openhouse and meet the
teacher night and went to Bingo at 5:30 p.m.

Honey Bishop took Nathan to Bingo night. I guess she is the one that has been taking
him although I thought it was Ken Jackson.
It was a little awkward but it worked out okay. The year before we had made a big deal about
our birthdays with the people who run the Bingo night but we had not been for
so long that we didn’t make a big deal of it this year.
The kids had fun going to the playground for a few minutes after, it was nice to have it fairly light tonight.
