Today I got up about 8:00 a.m. but Larry did not want to get
up yet. So I let him sleep so he could
get feeling better.
I read Facebook and ate breakfast and then got ready to go
to a 9:45 a.m. doctors appointment with Dr. Lee. Before I left the insurance called to verify
my address for the Humana Prescription Plan that I have signed up for since we
moved back to Utah.
The doctor listened to all my complaints about my leg and my
light headedness and my feeling overcome with shakiness and said he thought
that I just needed to exercise more and get back into a good routine. He filled my prescription for Tramadol and
that was it. So I guess all the stuff I
have been feeling is nothing. Some times
I feel like Dr. Lee thinks that I am a hypochondriac.
I went and bought Larry something for breakfast at McDonalds
and took it home to him. He was up
watching the Church movie, “How Rare a Possession” So I got some things to eat and watched the
end with him.
Kirsten came at the end to bring us a payment on some money
that we had lent her and then hung around for a few minutes to see about beds
that we have for when she moves.
Larry and I went into the bedroom after and read our
scriptures and spent some time just laying there on the bed talking. Then Larry got a call from his PA that he
went to the day before saying that his X-ray did not show pneumonia so she was
worried that he might have a heart problem that was being masked by his
diabetes symptoms so she told him that he ought to come down to the Emergency
Room and have them do some cardiac tests to make sure. So we jumped up and got ready to go and I
drove because she said that he should have his wife drive him.
At the Hospital they did several tests and finally
determined after about three hours that Larry had an upper respiratory
infection and that he was fine other than that.
Then he wanted to take the time to get his C-Pap machine updated so we
went in a few circles before we found the office where we did that. He was happy to get that done.
We both were hungry and needed restrooms so we stopped at
Burger King on 4th south and got us some dinner as it was about 5:00
p.m. by now.
We got home and spent about 2 hours unpacking boxes of
things that had been packed up from the house and getting them put away. We have decided that we have to much of
somethings and so we are going to pack it up and give it to DI or throw it
away.
We read our evening scriptures and as we were finishing up
Maren called. She had called me while we
were at the hospital and she was concerned about Larry. We get to tend her dog this weekend while
they go to the funeral for Landon’s Grandma, Jean Wilken, who died on Monday
after a lingering illness. She and the
kids are coming down early tomorrow so we can visit before they have to go to
Roosevelt. That will be great as we have
not seen each other yet because Maren couldn’t be at Grandma’s party because of
previous plans with Landon’s family going on a campout. So, I am looking forward to that.
Well I am finally tired enough to go to bed so I am going to
do that.
