September 25th

Today I woke up about the time that Kirsten and Taylor were in the kitchen so I went in to get something to eat.  Taylor was not in a good mood today and Kirsten had a headache.  They left to go to school and I thought they might be back at least after Taylor finished with school but I did not see them again until 5:30 p.m. when she got home because Maren and Landon and the kids were coming soon.

Larry and I got ready and then I took him to get a haircut while I went to get some prescriptions filled.  I had several that I needed transferred from CVS in San Antonio so I knew that it would take longer.  I forgot to take the bottle with the phone number on so I ran home to get the bottle and then took it back to the drive up.  She said, your husband was just here looking for you so he might be in the parking lot.  So he finished before I got back and walked the block to the pharmacy in Bowman’s.  I found him in the parking lot calling me to tell me that he wanted me to go to Taco Time to meet him for lunch.  At that time we drove over together but he can’t say he didn’t get his walking in.

We ate and then I called the pharmacy but they were not finished and so we went home and worked on the house to get it ready for the company on Sunday.  I spent some time cleaning things in the kitchen so it would look better.  Larry spent time working on putting up a towel rack and arranging the downstairs some.

We rested while we watched the Pope in New York on Fox news.  My ankle does not like me on it all day.  Maren called and said that they would be coming about 5:00 p.m.  I tried to get hold of Kirsten but she didn’t answer.  I relaxed a little more and then I called Maren about what she wanted me to do with feeding the kids because she was bringing them for Kirsten to tend while they went out for their anniversary that was on Wednesday.

Eventually everyone got there and I ordered a couple of pizzas from Pizza Hut with bread sticks.  Maren and Landon took off and then the kids ate.  Then they wanted to go outside.  They had just finished fixing my flower beds and so I found myself asking them a lot to not bother the bark and not to pull down the tree leaves to spread around.  But they had fun anyway. I was taking some pictures when my phone died so I went inside.

I stayed inside and Larry and I read our scriptures and said a prayer and then the three little girls wanted to take a bath and Max wanted to join in.  They all got in the tub together.  It was a hoot.  They had fun  for a few minutes and then they all got out and dried off and watched Disney Jr. for a while.

Then they all had to have chocolate milk and gold fish for a before bedtime snack and now they are all in bed thanks to Kirsten and I am going to bed also.
